Welcome

Welcome to the website of the Aberdour Golf Club Sunday Sweep.

The website has information for members of Aberdour Golf Club who play, or would like to play, in the Sunday Sweep.  It includes the sweep rules, results, draw for next weeks' play and details of outings and previous trophy winners.

The Sunday Sweep has been played at Aberdour for more than 60 years and is open to all members.  It provides an opportunity to play golf in a competitive and sociable way.  It is a great way for new members to meet others and new faces are always welcome. It is played all year round at 11:30am from September to April and at 3:30pm from May to August.

Competition is stroke play over 18 holes played from the medal (white) tees. In the winter when 9 or more temporary greens are in play the yellow tees may be used.

On the third Sunday of each month (where course conditions allow) a sweep medal is played, with scores counting for club handicap.

Entry is £3 per week and prizes for lowest scores over 18 holes, the front 9 holes, the back 9 holes and twos are awarded in the Members lounge afterwards over a drink and tales of woe.
